While we are targeting children K-6 for all new applicants to our program, Parents Challenge is proud to present our 2007 High School Graduates and other student accomplishments:
Robert Rodriguez, graduated from Pentecostal Christian Academy, was a recipient of the Daniels Scholarship to attend University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS) where he is an accounting major.
Audrey Lefever, graduated from Evangelical Christian Academy, and is a recipient of a four-year music scholarship to Hobe Sound Bible College in Hobe Sound, Florida.
Deonsha Dawson, graduated from The Colorado Springs School, where she received The Faculty Cup and is now attending Occidental College in Los Angeles, California.
Michael Johnson, a junior at St. Mary’s High School, was a presenter at the 2006 Helping America’s Youth Regional Conference in Denver, Colorado. Michael was selected by The White House staff of First Lady Laura Bush to introduce the speaker for “The Challenges Facing Boys.”
Justin Matoke, a senior at Rampart High School, was a 2006 finalist for the “Youth Asset Builder Award” sponsored by Colorado Springs Assets for Youth program. Justin assisted with building two Habitats for Humanity homes in Slidell, Louisiana for victims of Hurricane Katrina.
